Genevieve Pope is a staff attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans. She received her undergraduate degree at Tulane University and her law degree at New York University School of Law. She is currently the Treasurer of the Newcomb Alumnae Association, the Vice Chair of the Louisiana Progress Board of Directors, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Louisiana Chapter of the New Leaders Council. She and her husband, Jeremy Hunnewell, live in uptown New Orleans.
Jenée Slocum is the director of Special projects for the Louisiana Department of Economic Development in Baton Rouge. Prior to that, she was the Director of Development for Escola Americano de Janeiro in Brazil. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Education (December 2008). In addition to her extensive experience in research and fieldwork in education, she also taught elementary level students and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Ashley McGaha started her career at Ernst & Young, working with the Audit Services Division for eight years. In March 1996, she joined the Finance team at Tulane University Hospital & Clinic. Ashley has worked in a myriad of roles over her 18 years of service at Tulane. Most recently, Ashley has worked as the Controller, and effective November 1, 2014, she became the VP of Finance for the Hospital. She enjoys working on detailed analysis, strategic planning, revenue cycle initiatives, expense management, contracts, and working with the great team at the hospital.
Ashley graduated from the University of New Orleans and is a Louisiana Certified Public Accountant (inactive). In August 2012, she became a Louisiana Notary Public.
Ashley lives in Metairie with her husband Michael and their three children. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, eating, and talking. Her family is convinced that ironing is her favorite activity.
Chantel Vaultz is currently a teacher trainer who has spent over 10 years working in the field of education. As someone who is passionate about all things educational, she has worked with young people ranging in levels from primary to collegiate. In her current position as a teacher trainer, Chantel has led countless Professional Development trainings across the United States. Her focus is on providing creative and engaging instruction that is content-rich, adaptable and easy to execute.
During her free time, Chantel can often be found cozied up with the book of the month for the club she founded, Sistahs R.E.A.D. When she is not reading, working, or traveling, she can be found demonstrating her creativity in the kitchen, or volunteering with the national education-based sorority to which she maintains active membership Sigma Gamm Rho Sorority, Inc. Chantel Vaultz obtained her degree in Cultural Studies and English from Long Beach State in California.
Pam Baldwin is a retired chemical engineer with experience in operating units and design engineering firms. She studied at multiple universities then received her engineering degree from Auburn University. She is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Louisiana and is Treasurer for AAUW Louisiana, AAUW Baton Rouge and the Baton Rouge Chorus of Sweet Adelines. She and her husband live in Baton Rouge.
